It was way cooler when I was a kid. Still nice river views. Currently lots of chicken construction. Nice dog park if you have a dog. Average playground. There are workout stations along the main trail. Usually not busy.

Peacefull park in the heart of Broad Ripple, undergoing some renovayion currently, has big fields, a dog park, a boat launch, playground, bathrooms, tennis/pickleball courts+ Always something going on in there, so its very lively and parking is busy, but never full. CCA does kickball on Thurs there and lots of people playing Spikeball. Trails throughout. Overll great energy and space.

Chill neighborhood park. Lots of fun monkey bar stuff for grown ups too. Good shade and good sunshine. River access. Clean toilets. I’m very grateful to the people who take care of this park.

Our chi-weenie really enjoyed our walk in the park at Broad Ripple park! She barked at some kids, growled at a squirrel, and ate some grass! The park stays fairly clean, has plenty of space to walk around, or have a picnic. There's a dog park on the property, but I'm not sure of the rules, our chi-weenie is a little too raucous to hang out with other dogs. We walked down by the river, and really enjoyed the views of the trees coming back to life! Nice time in a nice park.

There are five Indy Parks pools open this summer according to their website. Unfortunately it looks as though Broad Ripple is not one of them. See here: https://www.indy.gov/activity/indy-parks-and-recreation-pool-hours
As of last week, Thursday, the Dog park was still under construction and closed.

Broad Ripple parks hours are dawn to dusk and yes parking is allowed after park hours. And you can be in park if you are loading/or unloading your boat into the water after hours. And as I grow up in Braod Ripple we use to play in the park after dark we only got told to leave after city curfew hours. Which is way past dusk.
Yes with a license. White river runs along side of the park.
