Awesome airport with an amazing FBO staff. Fly out of here several times per week. If all of the pilots who like the airport flag the comments of the people who chose to live by an airport and then complain about the noise the comments will be removed due to having nothing to do with the business.

2/10/2009 I just learned: After World War II, control of the airport was turned over to Salt Lake City and it was renamed Salt Lake City Municipal Airport II. On 10 February 2009, the Salt Lake City Council voted to change the airport's name to South Valley Regional Airport. The council made the change in order to more clearly describe the location and function of the airport and because the traditional name of "Airport II" had "no historical significance." There are a few different flight schools at South Valley. Aerotech, Randon Aviation, and Platinum aviation. You would have to check on each schools pricing.
