You don't need to go to Boston for the Best Knee surgeon. I am 61 years old and grew up with OI, have had many ortho surgeons over the decades. Dr. Chen is simply the Best in the Business. He completed an ACL replacement on right knee 15 years ago, Came out Amazing. Just recently went in as knee had been bothering me, MRI revealed one tear in lateral meniscus, went in for surgery, he found 2 others, PCL was torn part way, ACL replacement tendon needed to be shaved and cleaned. I walked off the recovery table, used one crutch for a day and started walking the next. Knee Pain was gone immediately and just completed 2 month checkup. 10 Stars to Dr. Chen, his Assistant Virginia Mike, his Nurses, Scheduler and Xray staff. Excellent Bedside Manner, Caring, State of the Art on latest procedures, EXCELLENT All around, Great Staff. I would go and have him do another one tomorrow if I needed it , however his work is so excellent I know I will not need to. Thank You Thank You Dr. Chen for your Excellent Work! My knee feels and works normal again!! Quickest recovery ever, no pain.

Dr Chen is great! However his PA isn't as great. She told me I can go back to work and I can't even move my arm yet.

I refractured my left hip again. Dr langevin said this surgery is going to be major compared to my partial replacement. I put my trust in him. That was on the 27th of June. I didn't get operated on til the following afternoon. I was discharged 5 days later. Went to rehab and left after only 3 days. The treatment was horrible. I didn't get my nighttime meds, plus they cut my pain meds in half, and totally cut them off in three days. Called the doctor when I got home. Went to have the staples removed (41) and the doctor gave me oxycodone. Called yesterday (July 23) to say I needed a prescription for the pain. I was told " no" and to take Tylenol. Today I called again saying I need medicine. I had p.t and occupational therapy today and was still told the same thing.I told them I'm not an opioid drug person, and if I say I'm in pain, I'm in pain. I was told to call my own doctor for medicine. I depend on people to get me ready, I can't walk, I have to give 24 hours notice for a ride. I'll never see this doctor again! I'm being neglected and refused medicine. Lets see them have the same surgery. I bet they'd feel totally different.

They are pretty good at scheduling as long as your insurance approve the testing.
I'm not sure but they were excellent with my knee
Most patients would only know about one or two docs. I would call the clinic.
I saw that they are a provider of my insurance but does that mean my insurance will pay for it
If you're looking for an orthopedic doctor Alpine Clinic is the place. Dr Chen is awesome, Dr Mullins is great and Virginia who works with Dr Chen is good too. Its a great place to go with knowledgeable, patient and friendly people in a relaxed and peaceful environment.
