Great amenities and everything is very well maintained. Sites are all unique and spaced apart pretty well. I really like that the roads are paved so even my hatchback can manage things just fine. Store is well equipped and staff are very friendly and helpful. Easily one of the best tenting experiences I've ever had.

Truly a spectacular location. The scenic views around the campground are insanely breathtaking. The campground was clean, easy to navigate, and had helpful daytime staff members. We stayed at site 6 which was pleasantly shaded and a short walk to the camp store/showers/bathrooms/dumpsters. It was prefect! ***Though, be sure to bring quarters for the showers!!*** I read a lot of reviews of how the noise of the highway at night was a big nuisance, however, we viewed it as white noise and it ended up helping us sleep. If that's not your jam, just bring headphones or earplugs to block out the ongoing traffic sounds. One downside is that the availability and presence of staff was lacking during the nighttime. That was disappointing considering how loud and rude neighbors could be after quiet hours. I went looking for a staff member after quiet hours to make a complaint and could not find one. Overall, the location of this campground is too good to pass up for campers, nature lovers, and hikers.

4 out of 5 stars just because of the highway noise. It’s not the campground’s fault at all, but just be aware the noise from the highway travels throughout the entire campground, all through the night. Other than that, it’s a great location for prime hiking and backcountry adventure. Cell service is minimal with Verizon, but that gives to the experience. Sites are perfect, bathrooms are adequately spaced and the camp store is sufficient for a semi-last minute camping trip

Our site had a fire pit, but no grill that you could flip onto it.
Yes, if adjacent sites are available
Website says that "Pets are not allowed"
If your referring to the campsite yes, there are picnic tables. At the local attractions there is no where to sit and eat.
Yes, but its considered off season so 1st come 1st serve. There's a self pay kiosk and they DO check your car for the payment stub so don't get caught ditching it 🙂 Also, they don't plow most of the parking lot, IF there is snow there then, which there very well may be. I don't know if you're familiar with the Whites at this time of year, but if you're planning on hiking, be prepared for lots of snow on the trails, especially higher up. Black flies are already out too! But still a blast 🌞
No, and poor data reception in places.
I don't think so. The last time I was here, there was a family in a site near us that had at least 5 kids with them. You MAY have to pay extra for having more that 6 people at the site.
Yes, but it will be out house bathrooms.
All set but thanks!
Theres is public parking outside of the actual campground. You'll then hike through the campground to get to the Lonesome Lake trail.
Yes, they have tent sites but they're pretty basic. They are a clearing with room for a few tents. All sites have a fire pit. The bathrooms are clean and there are showers near the general store. Make reservations!
