Excellent honest service. Great neighborhood business. They replaced my windshield wipers while I waited. Highly recommended!

I DO NOT recommend this auto shop. Short version of my review- read the one star reviews here- they are spot on; master mechanic is not great with Prius hybrid problem; he wanted to keep all the money we paid to fix a problem after NOT fixing the problem; fee is higher than others charge; we had to wait several days for master mechanic to take a second look. Long version of my review- Based on many good reviews here, my husband took our old hybrid car in, to get a diagnosis. Our Prius was making loud engine knocking sound whenever we started the car and the engine light was on. We trusted their diagnosis and paid $1052 to fix the problem (this includes $134 diagnostic fee, labor and parts and other fees for replacing 4 spark plugs, 4 coils). Problem wasn't fixed! We had to wait couple days to bring back the car, so the Master Mechanic can take a look. After further testing, he learned gasket needs to be replaced as well ( over $2K extra). He didn't want to do this himself, and he also mentioned high milage on our car (basically saying it's not worth spending even more money on it). While we were waiting, we had called another mechanic who specializes in hybrids- he knew immediately the gasket needed to be replaced, along with rusted coils and spark plugs. His fee for the whole job was $2500. When my husband and I went to Victory Auto to pick up our car, the Master Mechanic was clearly about to send us home with a car that did not get fixed, unsafe to be on the road (noises are accompanied by occasional rattling and lurching of the car). I asked about refund since we paid for diagnosis and paid for a problem which did not get fixed. Initially, he had no intention of refunding a penny. Then, he argued that he stand by his diagnosis, that coils and spark plugs had to be replaced anyway. Well, the fact is that I paid over $1K to fix a problem and it didn't get fixed. I wanted full refund, minus the diagnostic fee. He and I argued more. Then he said he'll remove the new coils he installed, and that he and I will come to an agreement on a partial refund when I come back to pick up the car. He just wanted me to leave, because there was another customer present. I am to pick up the car later today. It's just wrong that he was going to keep the money after he wasn't successful at fixing it; that he was fine with letting us leave his lot with unsafe-for-the-road-car for the second time. If he doesn't refund me the entire amount, minus the diagnostic fee, I'm going to file a lawsuit. I have a valid case under 'Defective Mechanic Work'. Problem did not get fixed, my family could've gotten in an accident.

Our A/C had gradually stopped working and had asked if they could recharge it. Joe mentioned that they will only recharge if they are sure the system can hold pressure. Otherwise it would be a waste of money. In the end, the compressor needed to be replaced but it was about half the price of getting it done back in Wisconsin. All done less than 5 hours after dropping it off! Very good service 2 year warranty that covers us back home!

So I went to Victory hoping to get a quick plug in my tire sad I had picked up a screw in “almost the sidewall” of my tire. That means a plug won’t be an option. They replaced my tire with the Spare, no charge. I thought for a minute about getting a tire at my dealership but thought about supporting this great place and bought a tire there. The crew, esp Kelly at front desk could not have been nicer, both guys also. I highly recommend them!! Thank you all and the crew in back for your service and professionalism!

Not sure about the charge but they do provide courtesy transportation. I would call them directly. They are quick to answer and very willing to answer questions.

The senior mechanics like Eric are highly skilled. He once rewired an entire wiring harness in my BMW 530. They also do not invent problems to charge more. Give them a call.
