Loved the event strongly recommended for even the non art enthusiast. Parking is a bit tough I agree. The reason for the 3 stars was the staff. The girl working the door was not friendly. I have been treated much better by carnival ride operators than we were with her. When you are paying good money to attend an event like this staff should realize they are there because you are there. No need to kiss the ring but try to be nice. Started our experience off on a bad note.

Van Gogh immersive at the Strand in Dorchester Ma. We had tickets for 2:30. Arrived at 2. Parking on the street was fine and no meters. The Line to get inside was very long. We didn’t get inside until after 3. VIP folks were admitted earlier but they still had a wait. The staff was appropriately humorous given there were more people to manage than what seemed possible to do without having a good attitude or at least a laugh. Just way too many people in a small area. Had to stand and wait to move a few inches along the exhibit once inside. Getting to the immersive room took an hour. Once inside it was just OK. Nothing extraordinary but cool enough to hold my interest. The gift shop was full of items made in China. Some cool offerings but not a fan of supporting Chinese products. Masks were required because it was held in the Strand Theatre which is now a Publicly owned Building and a historic building. I predict in 3 years the Strand will be sold and turned into a hotel.

Van Gogh immersion exhibit was ambitious, thorough and unique. The projected paintings changing from one to another mostly worked except for the gray blue Van Gogh head that didn’t successfully transform itself and had a creepy vibe. The big wall show could have used way more photographs. I would say the show was successful but Van Gogh always is.

Went for the Van Gogh immersive experience and it was wonderful! My two young kids really enjoyed the large room where we got to sit and be immersed into his paintings. Very well done! Clean bathrooms and parking was easy!

Yes however the space between rows is very narrow and so are the seats. Might be a bit uncomfortable.
There is street parking, which can be very tight and no guaranteed. But you can also park at CVS parking lot on Dudley street then walk to the theater
yes no handicap parking
BE careful there is limited parking
Not much, just parking on street...but the get full quick so get there early
I think you can through "Fever" discuss the possibility to change the date.
We went also, crowd gathers outside, shoulder to shoulder, you enter by groups of 15-20 an once your ticket is scanned it's self guided, no one is checking for vax, as stated on website, mask are required, there is a large room with projections on the wall, there was probably 100 people in there,. Chairs around the room an rugs on floor to sit, no one was cleaning anything.
There's a pizza shop right next door to the Strand.
There is no parking, but there are street parking and a public parking about a block away. The public parking is steep downhill which may be challenging.
Hey Greg, my wife and I recently been there, it was great. She booked it through an app called fever, but they're usually fully booked and availability is usually a few weeks / months out. Good luck
They didn't check vaccine status, but we had to wear masks at all times. This was last month for the Van Gogh immersive experience.
Also, be prepared for parking. We barely found a spot to park near the theater. It gets really congested there.
Just checked on the Wolfe Tones website and found the information.
I'm not sure I understand the question but the van Gough experience is there until March and that is not streamed online.
No parking no handicap parking nothing bad neighborhood
Street parking is what I used. On their site, they say there's parking behind the CVS, which is around the corner.
There is a parking lot I would get there the lot is limited
Not sure, did you check the website or call the theatre?
