Y’all need to come visit, this cafe is blowing my mind. The cappuccino is delicious. Loved the abundance of vegan options! Bought the vegan breakfast burrito, vegan rice crispy bar, amazing cappuccino

I was very excited to try this place since I've heard nothing but good reviews, and I'm happy to give them another. I tried their matcha latte and to eat I had the vegan veggie wrap (the type of wrap I chose was spinach) Everything was delicious and the staff was very accommodating when it came to my dietary preferences. The staff was very friendly as well! I ordered another matcha before I left and the manager (I'm assuming) remembered me by name and gave me a small discount! She also suggested I tried some of their housemade lavender syrup, which paired nicely with the matcha. I definitely will be coming back soon to get some computer work done or peruse their vinyl collection.

We liked this little coffee shop so much, we came here both mornings during our brief stay in Portsmouth while passing through the area. The coffee is delicious, nice and strong americanos if you add an extra shot. My husband had a couple different varieties of the scones and he raved about them. I had the potato and egg hash and it was very good. We also purchased a couple of records here, as they have some for sale. There’s a really nice selection of tea pots and coffee & tea, as well as some merchandise. I also appreciated that the staff was masked and the 99.9% of the customers were as well, which made me feel a little bit better about having my 1.5 year old child inside with other people. It’s always a struggle for us to find places where we feel it’s at least relatively safer to take our child, and when I find those places I want to support them as much as possible. If I ever return to the area, I will definitely come back to this little gem of a coffee shop.

Great spot for breakfast! Staff was so sweet and helpful when trying to decide what to order. They have loose leaf teas for every palate. They also have milk alternatives for the dairy free. The vibe( atmosphere) is so relaxed and welcoming. I plan to order some tea online in the future.

Where is the tea grown

Hi Alex, Great question! Our teas come from several countries; China, India, Nepal, South Africa, Sri Lanka - but always from certified organic tea estates and growers. Many of the organic ingredients that are added to the teas or make up the herbal blends are grown in the US.

What are the Covid safety practices like here?

Before working, all staff must take and record their temperature and report any health symptoms to the supervisor. We are all required to wear masks, work 6ft apart, and stay safe outside of work. Most of us get tested regularly. We work behind a wall of plexiglass, and have no direct contact with the public. Cards only, no cash. All surfaces are sanitized at least every hour, but usually more often. We have no public facilities. We have no self serve anything anymore. We do not refill or use washables. We have a very minimall staff and we all take this situation extremely seriously. We've been very fortunate to only have one scare in a 12 month period. We are take-out only for now. Hopefully we can all stay safe and keep everyone safe until things are ready to open back up. We miss our community so much and are so thankful for the support and care of the kind folks that do come in. Hope to see you soon!
