Wow. That is all I can say. I want to read the stories they wrote. There are so many things to learn here! I could spend a week.

This hall is one of the most amazing hidden gems of American history anywhere! It is an unspoiled time capsule and a must-see for anyone who is interested in American history in general and Civil War history in particular.

We are currently hosting small parties scheduled in advance. Because of the lack of air conditioning in this 1886 building, we have to limit the visiting hours to end by Noon, as it is unbearable and downright unhealthy during these Summer months.

How many stairs and flights of stairs are there in the building?

There are 44 steps divided mostly within the second and third floors. Right now floor one is rental property, so you have to traverse at least 22 steps to see any exhibits. There is no elevator.
