It is attached to the Methuen rail trail which is very nice. Lots of birds and bunnies. It's really peaceful considering how close to 28 and 213 you are.

Canadian Geese with their goslings were so precious. Watching them in the Spicket River diving for goodies was hilarious.

Very untouch and natural. Venture in from the rail-trail and find a quiet spot along the river to sit. If you get lucky and you visit regularly, you will spot a bald eagle. The that I've seen twice now since June appears to be a juvenile seeking its own territory along the river.

You can park at the end of Pine St. And it is a short walk up the trail. Or park at the Depot for a longer walk.
MSPCA at Nevins farm
The bird sanctuary is an outdoor conservation land You could try to see if the MSPCA at Nevins would take the parrot
