If you want a quiet place to camp with your RV with no amenities this is the place. There is a boat ramp and fishing on a branch of the Snake River. Picnic tables and pavilions are spaced around.

Very fun campground and very kid friendly! There are bathrooms available but no water so bring your own. All the campsites have fire places and several have fun playgrounds for kids. There are also really great walks that you can go on and plenty of room to camp.

great spot to hike, camp, and just relax for an evening with a firepit! there is lots of shade from trees but it still feels open in most areas. there are two bridges of course that I regularly fish at for fun and I usually catch browns and rainbows with spinners. the access road has some bends to it so some people can come hauling around the corner just keep that in mind. you can also see a lot of wildlife in the area and if you walk to the rivers edge you can spot some really cool tracks from all sorts of animals! last note is that some cell phone carriers dont get service in the are and you have to walk a bit to find reception. Overall I would recommend checking out this place!

BEAUTIFUL camping. I don't know if was just the time of year or where our campsite was, but there were no bugs or mosquitos...! Beautiful campground. Bathrooms. Only 5 bucks a night!

There is only one gate at the main entrance, another entrance just down the road. I don't know if they keep it maintained year round or when they close if they do
Check their website. Google Madison County Parks.
Thats a suprise to me. I stayed there quite a lot last summer and the bathrooms ( except for the one by tbe dock and lauching area ) were always clean and locked . I know that there staff are there daily checking up and making sure its a clean family oriented campground .
Kinda. There's a river you can swim in, but you want to be safe that it doesn't pull you away. There's better places around if you're just looking for a place to swim.
Fees are charged Memorial Day through Labor Day
