Great off the beaten path place to go with family. Facilities are in need of updating. Pool tiling is cracked in several places and there is often sand/dirt in the pool. Kids always enjoy coming here. Main pool is the perfect temp and the kids enjoy testing out the cold pool while adults enjoy the hot pool. Great to come at night when you can see the stars from the hot pool.

The campsites are great. The hot springs are geared towards children inside (cooler large pool) and adults outside (hot pool @105). Lots of disrespectful children all around though. Not really a place to relax and soak, but nice. Just a different experience than we are used to.

If you hope for a entertaining family experience in what feels like a third-world country, Green Canyon Hot Springs is the place for you. This hot springs facility is certainly very affordable, and likely does so by offering the bare minimum in amenities, maintenance, and cleanliness. In particular, the dressing rooms and restrooms resemble a garage more than anything else. Your clothes and belongings are put in a odd mesh bag that you surrender to an employee who hangs it on a rack. There is a single drinking fountain inside the swimming facility, and whatever water doesn't get into your mouth just splatters all over the floor. I pile of what I believe were just wooden planks are stacked next to a wall near the main pool. It looks like there was a diving board near the end of the pool once, but all that remains now are the scars of where it was bolted to the floor and wall. Perhaps Green Canyon Hot Springs should raise their prices so they can make for a more enjoyable customer experience. We know they don't pay to heat the water...one wonders what can be done to make this place live up to its potential.

Super cool place. Kind of old but other than that it was super cool to go there and swim with the whole family. The water is super warm for the regular pool. The hot tub is definitely way hot and nice. Then they have a small pool for like 3 people that is ice cold water and it is a fun little challenge to see who can stay in the longest there. The water that flows into the pools is from a natural hot springs so it is really nice!

Their website says winter hours are 5 pm to 9 pm Tuesday through Friday. Saturday is noon to 9pm. Closed Sunday and Monday. http://www.greencanyonhotspring.com
I work here!! Yes we do rent bathing suits. It's $4 but you get $2 back after you return it. We may not have all sizes, but we do have most. We also rent towels for $3, and you also get $2 after returning it.
No they don't. I believe they only rent swim wear.
Night or Day?
The campground is open year round, but for much of the winter and spring it's too snow covered or muddy to drive on, so camping gear needs to be packed in from the parking lot.
