HUGE! 5 Museums in one! You will buy a 2 day pass, which is needed. This is just so big! Start with the area you are most excited about! Also take a break in between each museum. TIPS: To avoid crowds go when they open! Also utilize the audio system for western art! Really a must see in Cody!

The people are wonderfully for helping or anything else. They have a seminar everyday one at 10 am and 1 at 3pm. Teaches you about the 12 birds that they have saved and can't go back in the wild because they were hurt to bad to live on their own so they take care of them. It was great. Went to 3 different ones.

The Buffalo Bill museum is an absolute must stop if anywhere near Cody. The sheer number and quality of exhibits detailing the rich history of the Native Americans and firearms and progress out west and life as it was is incredible. In addition to the incredible firearms museum, they have added multiple interactive exhibits which are I could have fun to try out. 3D projection pistol shooting, pay to play shooting gallery games and even some reactive machine gun / simulated fire models. If you're the type of person that reads every display you could spend a week here. Plan on spending at least 4 hours or so to see things at a trot without even really getting into the meat of the exhibits. The raptor show is really cool and the kids enjoyed that seeing the various birds that were taken into captivity to heal from injury. This Buffalo Bill center is vital to getting an understanding of what the West was and of what it is today, don't miss it!

Really amazing place that one could spend two days enjoying. 5 different museums full of fascinating displays and information. And if you are interested in guns, this is the place for you. They have so many that you truly will leave in amazement. So happy to have had the opportunity to visit!!
