Had a sign advertising that the hours between 8:30 am and 3:30pm Tuesday thru Saturday they are an open business however are currently not present without any form of notice or advertised update this is a clear violation of the state of Vermonts legislative act for business owners to provide transparency and accurate hours and regulations and for this reason should be audited for fraudulent/False advertisement

I was told that I had no comman sense as I was putting paint cans in the designated box and a can popped open and that he is sick of having people everyday come in and do the same thing!! Well maybe he needs to post a BIG sign for us with no comman sense!!! Maybe he needs a new job that don’t deal with people!!!

The employees are rudest people I have ever delt with in Vermont, hands down. I'm a 3rd generation Vermonter and I've never seen a poorer representation of this beautiful state. Hire all new employees, lower your exorbitant prices and maybe I'd give it another shot.

You need to have a permit to use the transfer center. You can buy it on site.
We do have other options. There are places other than the transfer station that will take food scraps
No charge, as long as you have a residential permit for Hartford.
Composte is disposed of down below with lawn trimmings and such. Ask at the booth and they can direct you. Anything non compostable would be considered trash.
If the are soda or beer cans i can pickthemup. I collectthem and a percentage gpes to a cause
