Nice store but prices are high for free donations... rather just buy new kids clothes

There are a lot of items to choose from and I was grateful that all items were tagged, priced and on hangers. Be mindful the clothes are not organized by size or color.

Terrible. When we walked in they said nothing about them closing soon. We were under the impression they close at 7PM. On the actual google link it says they close at 6. However, in 2 other places it says 7PM. They need to fix their hours. Never coming back here, the one associate was very rude.

Bright, spacious, fully stocked with great deals. As many new yorkers inhad done a thorough spring cleaning during this time, and as the charity stores in the city arent open yet I dropped my stuff off here. It was nice to see a place that kept social distancing even while dropping off donations. Place also seemed to be routinely restocking inventory

Hey I want to know when the sales start.and how to get the coupon
Yes they do. Call 1st to make sure they are taking donations. They fill up fast.
No. I have tried to drop off clothes and bags since COVID-19 hit. There is a huge sign and barricade stating they only accept donations until 3p the days they are open. The make it impossible for people to just leave donations on the outside of the donation center and if there is traffic around that time, there is no way you will be able to give on that day. My next attempt (since I've tried 3 times) is to go to Goodwill. Fingers crossed...
They take furniture if it is practically brand new. If it has one stain or a tiny rip they will rudely say no. The guy even said its nice but I'll get in trouble by my manager. They turn around and sell your used stuff for crazy amounts of money, sad when people are actually in need and can't even go to a thrift store. I went in last week and there was a couch $200 at a thrift store. They won't even negotiate with you a tiny bit on prices sad when its supposed to be for lower income people. Something is wrong with that place.
Please consider just giving your furniture to people that are low income instead of donating to places like this. They resell the furniture for very high prices and do the same with used clothing. Low income people can't afford these prices.
Call main office of Salvation Army. If it's items you want picked up from your home. They won't come if it's a few bags.. it has to be Furniture items mature items and big items.
Yes and I need one haha
Yes. But it's best to get there early in the morning (they open at 9A as of this answer) because later in the day they may shift to clothing donations only, or even stop accepting donations altogether.
They only accept donations at certain times and it fills up pretty quick best to call beforehand and double check
Bring it to a shelter
The closest goodwill i can remember was on central Ave in colonie and it has since closed down. There is a habitat for humanity store near there though if you want furniture.
Yes, there was a line back to the street when I was there.
They only accept in the morning now that we are in a pandemic. By noon the donation area is roped off.
