Never got to dine. Made reservations a week ahead and they canceled 6 hrs before reservation. They said dining room was closed. It was NOT. THEY HAD A BIGGER PARTY THAN OUR PARTY OF 6.

My loving Girlfriend bought me a 3 night stay here for my birthday at the end of May. Wonderful little camp we stayed in, love the rustic feel. Most beautiful sunset views and being able to keep the boat right at the dock for the stay was great. Wasn’t able to eat at the restaurant but certainly will try it in the future. Will most definitely stay again and the Philbrick family has a wonderful location on the lake. Thanks for a memorable weekend and look forward to staying there in the future. PS- for those who complain about the decor etc… what part of “rustic” don’t you understand…if you want luxury then just stay in Portland and leave this place to people who like to step back in time and enjoy the simple things life has to offer.

First time guests, couldn't have chosen a better place to spend the week. Cabin is rustic, but comfortable, great fireplace and plenty of wood right on the porch. We are staying in the "hillside" cabin, not directly on the lake, but still plenty of great views. Restaurant and bar very good also. Will try to return for a winter trip soon.
