They will not honor the price you reserved. There’s a term you need to gain clarification on with your credit card company: Charge back. “I don’t know what to tell you.” The phrase haunts my dreams. It was the answer to every question we asked as to why we were being charged more than double what we reserved at. The answer to why we were being charged twice what we could pull up on the website in front of them for that very day. Depraved indifference. They simply do not care. Finally got a manager on the phone and it was the same response. They refused to honor what their own employee confirmed. If you threaten to take your business elsewhere, you will be informed that your card will be charged for the full price because you did not cancel within 24 hours. The sheets were clean. The room at a good temp. The bathroom was in great shape. But for twice the price you agreed to. If money and customer service matters to you, go somewhere else.

The guy who checked us in was super friendly and nice. Although an older hotel the beds were amazing. Some of the nicer beds we've had on our road trip.

Nice hotel in a nice location! Right off I-90 and near 240 which makes it easy go from hotel to badland national park !room is quiet and clean! Love the hotel curtain! our toddler like play with the hotel phone on the desk in the hotel room and talking to another baby in the mirror lol

Absolutely the worst experience we’ve ever had at any hotel. We booked a stay for two nights, checked in after an 8 mile hike at the badlands, excited for a shower. When we got there, our shower had no hot water. When we asked the lady at the front desk, she snapped at us and said we were being impatient and that the hot water heater needed to warm up. So we waited hours, but the water only got colder. Then, around nine pm, a stranger (another hotel guest) entered our room with a keycard, which naturally, scared us. He turned around right away without saying anything but we went to the front desk to ask why someone had a key to our room and she laughed and said “this happens sometimes, I’m sorry.” Finally, the alarm from whoever’s stay before ours was not reset and went blaring off at 6 am, also scaring us. In the morning, the water was still ice cold so we were unable to take showers. There was a nicer lady was at the front desk and we canceled the rest of our stay. I do not feel it is right to charge $110 per night and not have hot water to shower in, allow strangers into your room, and treat you with blatant disrespect as a customer. We ended up going to the super 8 down the road for the rest of our stay, which does have hot water and a seemingly friendlier staff. Would highly recommend avoiding this days inn if you can. My stay was in October of 2021. I did file a complaint with the company before posting this in efforts to get my money back for the unsafe and disappointing night that we had, but I never heard back despite several times reaching out. I can provide reference number if questioned.

Breakfast is at hotel next door, we were late getting there, had a breakfast sandwich at Subway.
