The problem with this resort is they pick and choose which rules they want to implement and who they want to use these rules on. To us, it felt like new rules. Now we understand and respect rules, but when you’ve been coming to the same resort for years and have never heard of said rules it was pretty difficult to follow them. EVERYONE in our party had bracelets because we ALL rented a room, over 10 family’s rented as this is an annual family tradition for us. And we were still given a hard time. I’ve been coming here since I was a baby, and was blessed to bring my baby girl for the first time. But boy was I disappointed with management and my overall stay. So much so, we all as a group have agreed to go right next door to Sarasota Surf and Racquet Club. Im sure it’s no big deal to lose us, as others will take our place! That’s what was told to us by management, so they clearly didn’t care about their customers. But at least you were all warned! (I do want to note, other than terrible management the room was great and the beach is fantastic! But unfortunately, because of the way we were treated we’d rather go to a different resort.)

We have been staying at Palm Bay for over 30 years. This year, Palm Bay has turned into a terrible place! DO NOT VACATION HERE! YOU WILL LEAVE MORE STRESSED THAN RELAXED! The office wants to enforce rules when they feel like it. They make up rules as the days go. Harassing everyone that stays here until they are in their room not enjoying the beach or pool. You cannot have visitors or they will be kicked out by a security who is on a power trip and thinks he is a cop. He yelled at my group thinking we will respect him because he raised his voice as if he was above us in some way. We have about 30 rooms rented here by all of our family members and will no longer be returning. We will stay somewhere else where we are not treated like children. Palm Bay, you lost A LOT of business this year thanks to your actions.

We stayed in Unit 154. The entire condo was immaculate clean besides one little issue. As I went to get in bed the first night, the mattress started sinking into a hole. My husband checked it out and noticed that someone had turned the foundation upside down. When he lifted the mattress up to flip the foundation, there was a small empty bottle of liquor hidden under the mattress. That kinda freaked me out wondering if the sheets had even been changed. But everything looked spotless. My family enjoyed the whole week of vacation there. Perfect location and a very short walk to the beach. The only bad part about the condo is there are practically no lights. The lighting in the master bathroom is so dim, you can't see how to apply makeup. Also in the bedrooms and living room, there are no ceiling lights at all, only a couple small lamps with dark shades that doesn't put out any lighting. During the day we had all the blinds open to try to get some light but due to the parking garage on one side and a privacy fence on the other side, there was no natural light to help. We had to use our cell phone lights to look through our luggage to find the things we needed. I almost felt like the electricity was off all week and we had to use candlelight to see. There are several huge, nice ceiling fans throughout the unit but none of them have lights. So my suggestion to make this condo more perfect is to add better lighting. Also a closet in the master suite and regular bedroom furniture like a dresser and nightstand would really help out. The staff was extremely nice. We enjoyed our visit!

Beautiful place, great amenities and very clean and well kept. You can't beat this beach!!! Prettiest I've ever seen and lots to do around the area and great restaurants. We stayed in 349 on the bay side and it was just lovely.
