Terry, the Campground Host, does all he can to ensure that the Sunrise Campground experience is an awesome one! He is so accommodating, helpful to those of us staying there, and I will say I truly appreciate his keeping an eye on the campground, constantly patrolling, ensuring that the noise is kept down during quiet hours, and that folks are respectful of other campers and of nature. The reason I always return to Sunrise is because I'm confident in Terry as the campground host (I have seen other campground hosts let church groups run haywire in campgrounds, being noisy way past 10:00 p.m. and chopping down trees for firewood, Terry keeps an eye on all of this type of behavior and for that I'm incredibly grateful to him.)

Awful experience. Camp ground host is rude, condescending, unprofessional and downright creepy. He made a mistake and didn’t change the reserve signs and kick us out at 1 AM due to a mistake he made. Our son was terrified. This camp host is not a good person. Don’t recommend because the host is an a**hole. NOTE: We arrived at 11:30 PM on Friday, 7/30. You can clearly see the picture. Camp host stated to us he made a mistake. Told us to leave at 1 AM and kept coming back to make sure we were gone. Check - In is in the afternoon so this was totally just downright evil. If you have other options avoid. I’d hate for anyone else to experience this!

This is one of my favorite places! We travel through there quiet often, and I have to say, the view is absolutely breathtaking. The sunrises are stunning and filled with the most beautiful colors.
