Perfect every time, all the complainers in the reviews are used to being coddled, serial complainers. They make the absolutely best Cesar dressing on the planet, and it is consistent, after 30 years of enjoying it I would know. They are a little bit Fauci scared, and it is sad. Monkey Pox on Fauci and his ilk, the complainers.

Z's is consistent, you always know what you're getting. In my 200 something visits over the years only a few of those visits were sub par. That's a good record in my opinion. They aren't the best but they're better than most of the rest. Mr Z's is always a safe bet. They're happy to leave your pizza in for an extra few minutes to get that nice crisp crust and proper cheese browning. I've never felt "unwell" after eating Z's. Wish I could say the same for some other unmentionable food establishments.

This place is very overrated, unnecessarily overpriced, and sadly extremely underwhelming. It has a great location in the center of the city, but the pizza is definitely not amazing. It may be a great option locally for the uninformed, but this pizza is not NY style, it is not Chicago style, nor is it Neapolitan or Sicilian style. The pies are thicker than NY, but thinner than Chicago or Sicilian. The prices are roughly double a pizza anywhere in the state of New York or New Jersey for no apparent reason other than pizza in Vermont largely sucks and people think this is high quality. The wings are not great and they’ve overplayed the Covid melodrama to convert the entire operation to take out only ad infinitum since 2020. For $15 anyone with marginal kitchen skill can buy a dough and some basic ingredients in the supermarket and make a pizza of their choosing at home, while saving the other $15 that you’d need to spend to “experience” a Mr. Z pizza. This place is a hard pass. Forever.

Ordered a thin crust pizza with chicken(all white meat) not breaded, bacon, mushrooms. Very delicious. Very friendly staff at the counter too.
