I don't know a single person who visits the Deleware/ Ocean City Beach area and does not stop at Grotto's at least once. It is a MUST! Their cheese is so fantastic, I don't even mind the sauce (usually we get light or no sauce). It all just works so well. We also got the bruschetta- and added the balsamic vinegar. It was so refreshing.

This was a shocking pleasant experience for a pizza chain restaurant! On our way down to the Delaware state fair/Nelly concert we decided to grab a quick simple bite to eat. The service was better than some high end restaurants & the slices & chicken tenders were surprisingly very good. If in the area I'd definitely try out full blown meals here as the service was A+. Our waitress was friendly & tentative & was pleasant on the eyes as well!

I've seen Grotto around, and finally stopped in. We were headed home and needed to get food and use a restroom right? So we stop in, party of two. Decided to get a basic pepperoni pizza. Our server was sweet but very awkward. Since I asked for a water and a coke they assumed that was the drinks for the table. Never asked my spouse if they wanted anything. So we shared the drinks anyway. Pizza was...sure shaped like pizza. I guess it tasted like pizza. In that way that, its a late night in your early 20s. You've had some drinks and you're buzzing but not sloshed. You want a pie and the only thing open this late is that greasy joint thats only worked by other drunk college kids. So you go, because its cheap and you're hungry and it'll satisfy that. That's this whole place. A vaguely cardboard pizza that still hits the pizza button in the brain, but leaves to be desired. So three stars instead of two. 1. Because awkward as they were the server was a sweetheart and I can't be upset by them. 2. Pretty clean.

I really enjoy Grotto's Pizza! I've been to several locations and this one also provided fast and friendly service. In light of the pandemic, we ordered our pizza to go. I showed up early, paid for my pizza, and went out to my car to wait. They quickly came outside and brought me my Pizza even though I told them I'd come back in. Greatly appreciated this extra effort on their part!
