Was visiting the area on vacation, and was interested in purchasing a new weapon. Reached out to 802firearms and was advised that due to the fact that I was from NY that they would not do business with me. He was polite about it and said that it was nothing personal. I honestly was offended by this, and as an American I have the right to bear arms and also the right to purchase weapons from other states through the proper channels within the federal fire arms laws. I'm assuming that this dealer probably had a bad experience with an out of towners or a New Yorkers which is why he has this policy. I respected his decision even though I'm active law enforcement for 20years. I then reached out to Powder horn outdoor sports which gladly was willing to do business with New Yorkers. After all money is green and also I'm patronizing local businesses which helps the economy.

George did a great job of advertising and selling, for top dollar, my consignment of several weapons and accessories. Very reasonable fee, and worth every penny. George is licensed, qualified, and skilled at re-selling. As we used to say in the Army, he's got his $#!+ in one nice neat little pile. He's a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him.
