Went to get a new phone. Their processing network was down for 3 hours and they did not know when it would come back up. So they could not sell anything. The staff was helpful in explaining the phones available and this situation was not their fault. I asked if I could call them the next day and was told that they did not accept calls locally due to understaffing. All calls went to the Verizon call center. I was told to do my business on line. They should have closed the doors and went home until the network came back up.

I knew this was the only local corporate store and the reviews for a local retail store were better but decided to give it another try since our past years experience with previous staff had been great. I found Nate to be pleasant and straightforward and he listened to our needs. He was also informative about the continual technology changes. Unfortunately we had to go to another store to physically look at the phone we were interested in since it was going to cost a $50 restocking fee just to take it out of the box since there were none on display. Seems like this was a store policy not his choice. After confirming our phone choice we returned to have Nate complete our sale. He was very polite, patient, and efficient with the data transfer. I definitely prefer shopping where someone pleasantly listens to my needs and wants and can share their knowledge but does not try to upsell something beyond my wishes.
