Reservation was changed from a room with two queens to a room with a king. Four people are on the reservation. No sheets or blankets in the room for the pullout. The room was filthy; bathroom counters were clearly not wiped down. We requested housekeeping for the second day the night prior, and upon our return today, and it wasn't done. We let the front desk agent know, and her response was, "Well, housekeeping is not here anymore, sooo..." She gave us sheets, but there was no apology or any kind of customer service at all. If you can charge $600/night, you can provide baseline customer service. Do better, please. However, the Saturday morning front desk agent was super friendly. She was the only redeeming part of our experience at this hotel.

A pool was advertised and so we decided to stay here for a couple nights to take a break on a long cross country trip. They do not have a pool and apparently haven't had a pool in months. Were the rooms better then I'd give a higher rating to compensate, but the room was just tolerable. I know the lack of a pool seems petty, but when you have two kids who are staying sane on a loooooong car ride with the promise of swimming it matters. Update your website to show a lack of a pool.

I paid for 2 nights in a room, was able to stay one night then they mysteriously lost my rental, charged me for both nights and will hit refund my money, the clerk Shelby claims she called the manager to see what she could do, then when asked what their name was would not even give me that. Well not give me La Quinta Inn corporate phone number because this is a privately owned la quinta, instead she directs me to call the hotel back and follow the prompts to get corporate. Let's see option 1 reservations, portion 2 directions, option 3 contact a guest, option 5 getting desk. Nothing for contacting corporate. Do not stay here unless it is the one night that you pay for in person, and then be ready to be removed because they can not find you in their system and they will still charge you.

The stay was ok. The elevator smelled like urine. And one of the front desk associates was hard to find as they were constantly taking smoke breaks. We also got conflicting instructions as to what to do to get new towels. We were told to leave the old ones outside our door and new ones would be left, but every time we wanted new ones we had to go down to ask for them even though our old ones were taken. The breakfast was just simple things like yogurt, prepackaged muffins and granola bars. Our keys also kept not working ro get in to the building or room and we had to get new ones after each time we left the hotel. There are also a lot of pot holes in the parking lot, so if you have a lower car I would.be cautious. The AC worked great and overall the staff was very welcoming. I'm just not sure if it would be our first pick of hotels to stay at if we returned to Cheyenne.
