I knocked a bridge out in December. I called and was told what time to come in to avoid the wait. I went in at that time and waited for about 45 minutes until I was seen. The place was also dirty. There were water damage and cracks. I also saw bugs on the floor and on the tray that housed dental tools. The dentist was rude and not nice. They took my insurance and I paid whatever they asked me to. Now, 6 months later, I received a bill, which I wouldn’t care about, except it had a statement date of 5/28 and a due date of 6/12. I just received the bill yesterday, so I’m not sure how they want me to pay a bill by 6/12 when I never received it until 7/2 (and it’s not from a lack of checking the mail, we do that regularly). I called and the first receptionist I talked to was nice but not helpful, she said she couldn’t see any of my information because of renovations so the billing department would call me back. I waited an hour and called back. The second receptionist was rude. The third receptionist was very nice and attempted to help, but once again said that the billing department would have to contact me. Unfortunately I’m not very hopeful about getting a call back from anyone. I wish I would’ve went to a different emergency dentist.

Everyone that gave a bad review must be crazy. I haven't been to the dentist in years and they welcomed me with open arms, even though I didn't have insurance. Everyone from staff to doctor was very polite and professional. I went in with really bad pain and they figured it out in minutes. (Wisdom teeth) they wanted to take them out right then and there but I wasn't ready. I came back for my appointment and they treated me Great and with care. I woke up the next day with absolutely no pain, just a little tenderness where the 4 teeth were removed. I recommend them to anyone and everyone. They are amazing!!!!

Although the going to the dentist isn't fun and can be expensive, Dr Hampe and his assistant Dena will put you at ease. They make the experience great. I have had many procedures done by them and they make a great pair. This is not just an office for emergencies. I have had great cosmetic work done by them. I will continue coming here for all my dental needs!

Dr Hampe and his staff really make an effort to make a nightmare like a dental emergency into an enjoyable experience. Not only did Deena at the front desk go above and beyond explaining my insurance and coverage, but they break it down for you before procedures even begin. Angel was very supportive and Dr Hampe really puts you at ease - I was given estimated pricing after calling late last night (they also take calls 24/7) and decided to wait until the morning for the extraction. They are just the best - thanks for getting rid of another rogue wisdom tooth for me!

Yes, please call 727-449-2424.
still considered emergency dental
There's a clinic in Hudson that does emergency extractions for a very reasonable price. However they're not open 24/7. If you are in fact looking for something like that you will indeed have to pay a high price. That's the cost of an emergency clinic or hospital.

Yes VIP in Palm Harbor will call someone in. Hope you have insurance or deep pockets. I understand they do excellent work there as my friend went there and I went to their ER, both very $$$$ but if you're going to spend it you may as well go to Palm Harbor. It is amazing.
I hope you got this handled. If you do have an emergency, someone will always answer the phone and get a doctor in to meet you. I understand it can be quite expensive but aren't all emergencys?
Everyone is different- I am having more than 1- but according to how much work you need-it ranges from $100 to $340. Call Jakey tell her Jody Lewonas referred you-she can answer anything you need to know and she seems happy to talk to you. Very nice people and so far great, caught things other dentist didn't see on x-ray. 10 extractions $340 per tooth . No breaks for multiple teeth. The computer tells them what to charge
