Jan was super helpful and patient while showing different items from the store. And gave us the opportunity to experience the differences between mattresses and also between sofas. Including showing other styles.

We walked in looking for something different in living room furniture, a new color perhaps, something modern & popular, something that was comfortable overall and most importantly at a price I could afford! Found all this and more at Badcock!! We purchased a GRAY sofa and a recliner, that's it! We've never had gray before ;) We only bought two pieces to avoid having our small house look cluttered from having too much furniture. As for comfort, the padding in the couch and recliner spans from head to toe bringing about superb comfort and total relaxation! C'mon, Dude! Who thinks to pad a footrest? Well, Badcock did! So popular is the couch set we picked that it is on back order for 8 weeks. However this does not overly concern us; there are some other things we need to tend to before our new furniture arrives anyway. Prices were easily $200 under the nearest comparable competitor (who's name just happens to begin with an A—). What's more, Badcock has their own bank, so financing is not through a third party like Synchrony who's credit rating tends to mean less. The sales people were all ALL friendly and knowledgeable. They allowed me to shop at my own pace and try out a myriad of options before we settled on the set that we did. They didn't rush to grab me at the door with a territorial sideways glance at their fellow employees that said, these guys are mine, stay away! Nor did they follow me around the store with a high pressured sales pitch. It was the most pleasurable furniture shopping experience that I've had in a ling long time.

To start, Tyler is not very good at his job. If they work off commission, he's probably not doing well for himself. We had to find him once we found a bedroom set we were interested in then I told him that we would be needing a new mattress too because we were sizing up with this purchase and he didn't even try to sell us one of theirs. The first delivery date they had was 3 weeks out, so my husband made sure he was home that day. Delivery day came and the headboard was broken. They still set up the bed so we had something for now and set a delivery date for the replacement for the following week. Once again, my husband arranged to be off in the middle of the week. They brought the new one and it was, once again, busted. A new date was set then they called to say they were coming the day before instead but my husband already had the original day off. I happened to be home today with a sick kid so he didn't take another day but they came after their delivery window, so he was home when they got to our house with another broken headboard. So far, the original is in the best shape of the 3. All Tyler has offered as compensation is $100 which covers the delivery charge but doesn't come anywhere near the income opportunity lost by my husband, who is full commission and very good at what he does, for taking off 3 days dealing with this.

I have been to this particular store two times. Both visits have been a great experience. Lana Barnett helped us out both times and she was fantastic. Very helpful and friendly, and not too pushy. She gave us enough time to shop on our own and was there to answer questions when we had them. I will definitely be back!
