I'm a travel nurse and booked this place an entire month ahead and then they cancelled on me due to having children which they were told about a month before. That left me scrambling for housing a week before I started work. I don't appreciate that one bit so I guess if I were a traveler looking to book a place for 13 guaranteed weeks it wouldn't be here. Not family friendly I guess π€·

We were booked to stay here long term for three months. They gave us a total of around $1400 a month with our children and two corgis. They also mentioned we had to pay the three months upon arrival $4000+ which is no issue when travel nursing and common for some places when staying long term. A week before we were supposed to arrive they called to tell us they don't allow people with kids to stay longer than 2 weeks. We had been setup to stay there for a long time in advance (at least a month.) We were asked multiple times to confirm we weren't still "shopping around" since they have issues with people booking and not staying. Most likely because they don't ask for a deposit to book? We do travel nursing and had spoken with two different staff to confirm everything was in order. I had called to make sure a couple days before and got no answer (which is common) and a few days later which was a week before we were set to arrive they called to tell us we could only stay 2 weeks because of our 12 year old and 2 year old. The individual I spoke with said it had been their policy for years. So we had to call around everywhere since we had already signed contracts to find a long term site... In July... In the state with the largest tourism for RVing for this time of year. Needless to say don't book here because clearly they have issues. We could have arrived on the scheduled day and never knew when we checked in we would only be allowed to stay 2 weeks. Imagine the situation we would be in if I didn't call to verify everything for around the 5th time. Especially since they told us about the issues about booking and not "shopping around" They knew all the information such as fifth wheel size, our jobs, children, vehicles, and two corgis. Never said anything the whole time that the children would be an issue. So to the travel nursing or full time community this isn't the place for you if you have children as well. I could not find it mentioned anywhere online children can only stay a maximum of two weeks. This is the first place in all of our full time history that we were told they have a limit of two weeks unless you have no children. They are not child friendly. We were really looking forward to our stay there as it looked wonderful, but we found somewhere else for nearly half the cost that were very excited to welcome us in. Customer service is not their forte, but to the two individuals who had us booked and ready to go you guys seemed wonderful especially Seven. You should definitely read the other reviews. I normally don't believe a lot of reviews, but there is a reason they have so many negatives. They seem to not like families staying and seem to not be pet friendly.

Nice place, checked it out for a friend coming into town with an RV. Plenty of nice spaces this time of year. Played golf there last year, nice course.
