Loved the friendly atmosphere and the class sizes! Each classroom has the upgraded technology of a Smart TV that can easily display the teacher's content from their laptop. I had the opportunity to observe classes and left wanting to take some of their foreign language classes :)

I'm an aspiring ESL instructor, who completed the TEFL practicum at the Tampa Language Center. My experience with the center's staff, students, and director (Ryan W.) have been extremely positive. The staff is knowledgeable, motivated, and caring. The staff exudes an extreme sense of passion and pride for teaching. This passion is transferred to the students, who genuinely put forth the effort to learning the English language. Students are encouraged to ask questions and challenged to exceed the course standards. Many thanks to the inspirational teachers (Mr. Tom, Mr. Sam, Ms. Natalie, and Ms. Kim) who allowed me to participate in their class and have meaningful interaction with their students. The staff is unique in the sense that they find various ways to teach students inside and outside of the classroom. Some teachers incorporate class trips, events, community service, and other activities into their lessons, providing students the opportunity to practice their listening and speaking skills with other native English speakers. If you're looking to learn the English language in a positive, encouraging, and judgment free environment, the Tampa Language Center is the place for you.

I spent a week at Tampa Language Center. I was working on my practicum for my TEFL certification. The school was extremely well organized, and I could tell that they take teaching very seriously. There are many enthusiastic teachers; each of them seemed passionate about what they were doing. The class sizes were small, and provided an encouraging environment. Ultimately, I would recommend Tampa Language Center to language students.

They do have Korean courses. The courses they offer change all the time but I'm pretty sure they're offering Korean right now.

Alexander! It depends on the program and your level. We have 6 different levels. For an evening or Saturday program, registration costs $ 340 for every 8 weeks. During the day we have an intensive program and for 20 hours of class each week, it costs $ 1040 for every 4 weeks of class.

We occasionally do private classes for kids. To join a group class,we prefer that the student is a teen. They must be mature and understand that theywill be surrounded by adults.
You can call and ask for the start dates, but the value of the course depends on the frequency you choose. The day you go they will give you an hour of listening at the level that you think you have so that you can see the environment. After that, if you dare, they will give you a written exam that defines your level. There are very good teachers !!
We require a bachelor's degree of any sort, a TEFL/TESOL certification, and we prefer one year of teaching experience. Currently we are not hiring, but we are growing!
