I like it because there usually aren't many people. Nice quiet area with some wildlife. Great for bird watching!

Nice and easy walk in nature. Has potential to be much more than a short trail and more like a park with multiple amenities.

Great area! Lots of friendly dogs running around. Water on 2 sides, disc golf, paved & unpaved areas to walk.

Questions & Answers

Are there camping areas here? How much a night? Do I need reservations?

Don't camp here. It's much better to stop by. It's not that big and it does close occasionally in preparation for events.

No camping. This park is across the river from the dog park and is day use only. It is a public hunting ground more than like a park for picnics and what not.

Does the campground have full hookups?

No, the park it pretty, but the park is rather primitive.

Do the peach pickers in Palisade Colorado still move among the peach trees on stilts instead of leaning ladders against the trees?

Hi Judith, I've only seen them on the ladders. But i'd love to see them on stilts!
