Overall a good experience. However, customer service at this location could have been better. The attendant didn't even ask my boyfriend or I if we knew how to Kayak. Nor told us if there were any spots we should avoid or if we needed assistance a number to call. Make sure your seat is properly adjusted before you leave the dock. We left the dock and realized that my seat was not properly adjusted which caused a bit of pain in my back. We paddled back to the dock and the attendant adjusted it.

We had so much fun!! The lady at the desk/table was very kind and helpful. The water was great!! We had an island to be able to go around. It was interesting to see some of Tampa at that level. We have already planned to try each location to see which is our favorite.

Me and my younger cousins rented 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards. We had so much fun and would definitely do it again. The instructor was easy going and got us totally ready for the journey. We never fell in until we were getting off the boards 😂 definitely will be going back again!!

Bought tickets on groupon, made reservations online right away for Saturday May 29th (Memorial Day Weekend). It was for 4 people as we were celebrating a friend's birthday. We were lost for approximately 50 minutes as we were unable to find the place and had been calling their number since before our reservation start time, but no answer. Our reservation was for 10am and we arrived at 10:53am. I explained the situation to the associate working their booth that day and she stated we could only kayak for 1 hour being we were late. I understand we were late, but we called and called and no one answered. She stated she does not have a telephone there and the calls go to the manager. She tried calling the manager as well since we either wanted the full two hours paid for or a refund, but did not get an answer either. The reason for this was because they had another reservation going in at 12pm and they needed the kayaks. First of all, why do you even have only a few kayaks available when you have reservations left and right especially on Memorial Day Weekend! We asked if we could do the pedal boats instead since she needed the kayaks and she stated they were down and under maintenance. She then stated she could let us kayak for 1 hour and give us a refund for the other hour. We agreed. By this time it was 11:15am. She ended up taking her time taking care of another lady and her son who rented paddleboards and by the time she came back to us, it was 11:30am and she stated we would only have 30 minutes to kayak at that point. This is where the level of disrespect from this employee went through the roof and we immediately requested a refund. She stated she could not give us a refund and we had to contact the manager. I called the same number we had been calling all along 5 times back to back and finally got an answer. I simply requested a refund and the manager asked what happened to which I answered there was no point in continuing to waste my time explaining since we were not going to be able to kayak and that I just needed a refund. She stated "have a good day" and hung up on me. I called her back and requested a refund again. She said she would process a cancellation and that I had to contact groupon in order to get a refund. I have had bad experiences with different types of businesses, but this by far is on top of the list. The lack of customer service and professionalism performed by the employee and so called manager was unacceptable. Their location is hidden from the main road and in order to get to them, we had to get valet parking at the Marriott and walk right through the lobby and back door. They need better management and directions!
