We moved from Raleigh to Durham only to discover that our existing furniture no longer worked well and after 15 years it was time for a refresh. We found LK Design through a newspaper article on design. We engaged Laura Koshel on a small project and were so pleased that we engaged her again on a much larger project. Laura guided us through the project from ‘soup to nuts’. She helped us with selecting an overall color scheme, selecting fabrics, selecting specific pieces of furniture, and choosing a rug to tie all the pieces together. She managed the purchases and she even brought in a team to arrange all the pieces. We couldn’t be happier! Laura is knowledgeable, charming, and a delight to work with. Highest recommendation!

I have worked on 4 different projects with Laura over the years. Each project was very different, but Laura delivered each time. She is able to listen and make suggestions based on the owner's needs and wants, which is not always the case with interior designers. The last project was done during COVID time, when sourcing was a nightmare. But Laura still kept her calm and professionalism and navigated through the mess in a very timely manner.
