My husband, an elderly man, was treated with rudeness and disrespect. He needed help and the busy young worker seemed to care less. Perhaps this post office needs to hire more workers and make sure new workers learn how to properly deal with the public that helps pay their salaries.

Only giving two stars because the personnel are friendly. Otherwise, it's been a nightmare trying to get our packages delivered since we moved. The first time, we ordered a rather expensive item for our daughter's schooling, so we needed it quickly. At first, tracking said there was a problem with delivery. When I went down to the Clifton branch to check on it, they said it had been delivered to a parcel locker just that day. I thought the ordeal was over, so I went back to work and when I got home later, I checked the mail. No key to a parcel locker was in our mailbox. We called the 800 number (because there seems to be no way to get through to the local branch) and they said they would re-deliver it and have the key in our mailbox the next day. We checked the mail the next day, and no key, but other new mail had arrived so we knew the mail had run that day. We again went into the post office, and they said it had been taken to the main branch but the carrier who was supposed to deliver it was out that day. They were nice enough to call the other branch for us and have them hold the package. However, the main branch held the wrong package. We stood in line at the main branch for almost half an hour, finally got up to a person, waited another 10 minutes at least for them to search for the package, then finally received a package. We opened it in the car, only to find that, although it was indeed one of the things we'd ordered for her schooling, it was a relatively cheap item in comparison and not the one we were really worried about. We'd given the Clifton branch the tracking number for the other item, but somehow that didn't get relayed. So, we went back in, stood in line for another 20 minutes, explained all over again the situation, and waited another 10 or so minutes to find out they had no clue where the package was. They'd lost a $300 item, simply because the carrier didn't think we lived at the new address; even though we'd already formally submitted a change of address at the post office and had even seen our names on the tag inside the mailbox. We checked the mail and noticed the tag had been changed to only my husband's last name, even though both his and mine had been on it before (the package was in my name, thus the delivery issue). By some miracle, the item did finally arrive two days later. The carrier personally brought it to our door so he could also clarify who lived there (as we had mentioned the name issue). Once again, we have both our names on the tag. BUT (as if the above weren't enough!). Now, we've ordered something for our daughter's birthday, so this is also quite time sensitive. Yet, here we are, a week from her birthday and haven't received the item. After checking the tracking, it shows the item was delivered to a parcel locker on Wednesday...but guess what? No key in the mailbox. Again. It's Saturday now, and I won't have time to get into the post office by the time they close at noon. So here we go again, through all of this all over again. Except now we have to wait until Monday, and we're running out of time. Moving has never been so frustrating, I didn't have this problem the last time I moved.

I had a much better experience here than I have at any other post office I've been to. Just moved to GJ from Colorado Springs where most postal employees act like they're being held against their will by terrorists.

I went into this post office for the first time today and let me tell you the teller, I believe her name is Tia, has a wonderful personality. She knew many of the people by name and no matter how long her line got she stayed cheerful, she is simply awesome!
