We have been using this vet since the late 1960s and have always been tremendously pleased, however, a few years back, they stopped taking appointments. Now you must arrive at least two hours before they open to sign in because it is first come first serve. Then you have to wait your turn depending on how many people are in front of you. We have been there many times when our time spent was literally FIVE HOURS TOTAL. No one minds waiting if there is an emergency and someone needs to be seen before you, that is just a given. But to wait five hours for vaccinations, or a pedicure plus a Bordetella, or routine visit is exceptionally long. We hate to do it but we’ve had enough! There are many other good vets that don’t require you to wait extremely long times. We are very sorry to say, it is just too much!!! Once in a while is no big deal, but if you can’t get there before everyone else, you are stuck. Sadly, it is time for us to find a new vet after 55 years of being totally satisfied. Please take into consideration going back to the way it was before and we will come back without hesitation!!!! You are asking way too much of your fully satisfied, longtime patrons.

It’s insane how long you have to wait at this place. The service itself is good but it takes basically a whole day to see a vet. Currently waited over an hour when I was the second person to check in after their lunch break. Coming here is extremely inconvenient. They treat my dog well it just takes way too dang long to go to this place.

This place is THE BEST! I’ve been taking my dog there for about 7 years now and they’ve ALWAYS been extremely kind, professional, totally informative, responsive, and they remember my dog and I EVERY time I go. I TRULY believe they provide the best care for my dog. He’s 15 years old now and still going strong because of the doctors, staff, and treatment there. Dr. Weidenkeller and Dr. Grant are THE BEST!

I would bring them in to rule out UTI or other bladder issues. They may have meds that help control 'excited bladder'. Good luck and thank you for adopting!
First of all, sorry to hear the bad news. Of course the first instinct is to panic, but if your dog isn't acting or behaving out of the ordinary, or showing signs of pain, you can wait. No appointments, so get there at 9 when they open. ER will run tests and possibly detain, but no difference other than immediacy.
There is no "central database" for these records. You can get copies from whichever vet did the vaccinations.
I believe the consultation is about $30 or so. If you call in, they are usually very informative.
Who ordered the ultrasound ? You might want to see Dr. Grant that's why I see him he does not order any unessary testing.
No, they do have available but for minimal fees.
