The Jamaican bar tender was the nicest guy ever, but the cook was a jerk. I drove over an hour to get here for dinner. I missed the 9:30 cutoff for food by two min and the cook refused to cook some food. Since this is the only place that serves food in this area I’m without dinner tonight, which is a bummer. The cook wouldn’t even drop some fries in. Otherwise this place was great.

From start to finish we were otherwise unimpressed. Starting with slow greeting to being addressed as "ladies" (male & female couple) not once but twice. The food was not much better than the service. A burger with onions that had to have gone bad a week prior. Online reviews boasted great sweet potato fries, so naturally I ordered them. The waiter confirmed then brought out over salted potato rounds. Our order of fish was tolerable but again the fries were overly salted as well. Topped off with a $70.00 bill. Would stringly suggest finding an alternative place to eat.

Felt compelled to leave a review here. We travel a lot for work and live in Berlin- where we have one of the best food scenes in the world. Got the Turkey pear sandwich, chicken Cesar, pepperoni pizza, and brownie. Contrary to the lunatics who seem to hate everything and rates this place with one or two stars, we weren’t expecting much but were pleasantly surprised. Some of the best fries we’ve had too- so I hope whatever they’re doing now they keep it up. Impressed. Also- prices are more than reasonable per the “California prices” person. What does that even mean? If you want McDonalds prices, head to Two Harbors- there’s a McDonald’s there and I’m sure the staff here will not miss your passive aggressive comments. (Also staff is great). Will be back.

Wow! We were very impressed with the quality here. The food was great and awesome tap selection (including the ciders). Stayed in the area for four night, went here for dinner for three of the evenings, and would come back again! Tried multiple things from the menu, and they all exceeded expectations. Also, service was great! I have no idea where the negative reviews come from but don’t pay any attention to them. Get the Turkey Pear Sandwich!
