Lovely place to relax and try some new wines and ciders. We loved their truffle tasting flight, paired with chocolate from Gunflint Mercantile in Grand Marais. While MN is a notoriously difficult place to grow, it was a bit disappointing to find almost exclusively California grapes being used, with only a couple exceptions. I’d love to return in a few years to see if they have more locally sourced options available.

This was an enjoyable stop for a very nice bottle of Cabernet on a wet afternoon in May. Friendly and low key staff set the tone for a relaxing vibe. The indoor seating is surrounded by big oak Barrique (casks). The grounds include many wooden tables with seating in the wooded premises - a perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon or evening with friends when the warmer weather comes. Enjoy a glass on the grounds or buy a bottle to go. Either way, you will be glad you did.

Amazing winery! We called on our way back to bluefin from grand marais hoping to get in on a Friday. Pat got a table ready for us inside despite reservations mostly being online (and it was raining). I tried the mixed flight — all were so good!! Rest of the group had Chardonnay and loved it. Not a wine connesieur but have been to a few in MN and this hands down was the best I’ve been to 🙌🏼🙌🏼
