It's a very nice park. Spacious and very beautiful. A great place to walk your dogs. There are picnic tables around, so you can probably have a nice together if you are so inclined.

Its a nice park.. only complaint would be how they opened the bathrooms late and close them early

Nice secluded park, with a wading pool, horseshoes, handball courts and a larger covered BBQ area in the back. Access to the riverbed when the gate's unlocked.

I pick this park to park at to ride my bicycle on the riverbed. Since it's tucked away its never crowded. But the restrooms aren't open early. But it's a nice quaint park.

Yes they are
We do have our Public Safety officers patrolling all of our parks as well as our Whittier P.D.
You have to go thru city hall SFS'S it's cheaper if you live there (or know someone who does use their address)😉😉
Hi Andy, We close our parks when we do not have staff on site for safety issues. Parks are open 7 days a week mostly during daytime hours. If you have any other questions about our parks, please call the Parks and Recreation Division at (562) 863-4896.
