Pretty fun place. The tickets were a bit confusing because the prices were a little high for everyone, even though most adults only could do two or so rides. Definitely kid friendly, but my son was just at the height where he almost was too short or too tall to go on many of the rides. Thankfully he got to go on some rides, but then his sister wasn't able to go with because she was too tall. Food and drinks were okay, games were a little pricey for the prize you may or may not win. It can definitely be done in one day.

I'm not objective, I'm completely nostalgic about Arnold's Park due to my childhood, but it's been updated since then and the city continues to make many improvements. I won't lie, it's totally bougie, the food and souvenirs (and shops) are horrendously overpriced and it's a huge tourist trap, but if you're on vacation, where isn't? The trick is to avoid holidays and weekends when possible, bring a backpack with some bottled water & snacks if you are looking to save $$. A day pass is like $35 and doesn't include go-karts, but a yearly pass for rides is like $99 ($150 for rides & go-karts), so if you want to go a few times, it's definitely worth the splurge. We are 35 miles away but get our money's worth when we're visiting Grandma & Grandpa or if we make a Taco house run. 😂 My folks actually gift our passes for Christmas every year, it's a great gift idea! (You can also purchase an annual Chaperone pass for $50 if you're just wanting to ride on with your littles, but it is limited to certain rides - see pictures).

This is a great place in Okoboji to bring the kids. Lines are never long, prices aren’t overpriced. You make a nice day trip out of it for 2-3 hours easy. Try and avoid the heat because it can be scorching.

What a terrific old fashioned amusement park in NW Iowa. Great for all ages, many things to see and ride on. There is a go cart track and miniature golf there too. Lots of good food and a safe environment. The people working there are very friendly.
