The owners daughter could sell me dead bait and I would buy it....lol She came out from behind the counter, and told me I have nice pigtails.... 😂 My granddaughter was with me and she still can't stop laughing about it! They always have the best bait anywhere around!!

I'm revising my review and comments from 3 stars to 5 stars as I recently revisited the bait shop. When I was there last year I didn't realize they we undergoing changes at the moment and hadn't finished with them etc. This has always been a good bait shop in the past and seems to be back on track with the new ownership. I will continue to stop here for my bait and supplies before heading out to the lakes.

Fish Lake always has good bait, and very wide selection for all species,including monster catfish. New management is doing a fantastic job at getting this shop a much needed new look. Thanks! Catfish Dan

My hubby and I have been going to Fish Lake bait for years, but the store sold and it's not what it used to be anymore. You can no longer get anything but a very limited selection of bait and that's it. They don't sell any fishing gear, treats or drinks like they used to. It used to be a one stop shop, before hitting the lake. It's sad. Hopefully the new owners will correct this in the future and bring it back to the way it was.
