It's an amazing place for relaxing and seeing the landscape of this area of the delta. Just over the summer, you must go very early on the morning (6:00 am - 8:00 am), therefore you will appreciate the sunrise; or, go on the early evening (7:00 pm - 9:00 pm); so, you will see a beautiful sunset. If you go between 10:00 am - 6:00 pm; it's really extremely hot and warm. You'll get a sunburn easily. Another suggestion... Use solar sun protection. Otherwise... Enjoy it.

Take the Antioch/Pittsburg highway west toward Pittsburgh. About 3/4 of a mile in the main entrance is on the right. It's easy to miss. It's across the highway from one plant dispensary right before the water treatment plant
Park at Smith's Landing/Boat launch, there's a concrete path off to the left at the start of the marina, follow it to the start of the path near the Cordova wetlands sign. There are bathrooms in the parking lot.
Yes, but it's about a 0.75 mile walk from the parking area to the river.
