First day, bought 2 scoops crappie minnows. They were dead by morning. Second day, bought 2 more scoops and they died in one day. I did everything they suggested to keep them alive in my Frabill Magnum Bait Station with aerator. Third day, the lady behind the counter said that they were even having troubles keeping them alive. No apologies or anything. I decided to buy 2 scoops of fatheads and they died after 2 days. It's a half hour drive each way to get there. Not happy or impressed with their customer care. Sure doesn't feel like a small town store. Hard baits were over priced as well.

We stopped at 6am to get minnows as the website says open at 6am. Door says opens at 7am. Drove over an hour. Very frustrating 😕

Wonderful bait shop, has the small town feel with big town selections. Don't forget to check out the ice castle store while you are here! I absolutely loved how they had the area fishing reports posted inside. Great to know how the bite is going in the area.

One of the first stops I always make in Battle Lake to pickup my bait and get a fishing license. Friendly staff. This place never changes - always good service, knowledgeable and friendly staff.
