I often find myself coming back to this park when I just want to relax, walk and feed the ducks (Reminder: DO NOT feed the birds bread, it holds no nutritional value and can be detrimental to their health in the long run! Better alternatives are; Duck Pellets, wild bird seeds, and peeled fruit ALL of which can be bought at a local grocery store or pet store.) The pond itself is relatively clean for it being surrounded by so much biodiversity. Red-eared slider turtles, guppies and different kinds algae make residency in the water. While Canadian Geese, Snowy Egrets, Mallard ducks and Black crowned night Herons live near the waters edge. Squirrels and seagulls also make home near trees. This park is one of my favorite places to unwind and observe nature without having to travel to far. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys bird watching or just unwinding. 🐦 🌳

During covid times it's hard to find isolated space where kids can play, this park has enough space. It also have tennis courts and kids play area.

Beautiful pond! Was so nice to see people feeding the ducks with duck food, oats, peas, corn, bird seed, and lettuce! Crackers, wafer cookies, and bread can make them sick!
