I just had my 2019 Winnebago View on a MB Sprinter Diesel serviced at MB of Oxnard. The show room people were very nice and they let me wait in the waiting room with my dogs. My 4 hour service estimate turned into 6 hours. They could not wash my vehicle with just water so they didn't wash it. Washing was "Complementary" so they wouldn't take off a little for not washing it. When I asked the question, they got really incensed that I should even ask that. Doesn't hurt to ask does it? Moving on, I was incensed when I opened my door to oils smears all over my white seat and on my floorboards. I marched back in and they tried to clean it off but it wasn't the same. My question for him was why they don't put on plastic seat covers and paper floorboard covers. His response was MB doesn't send them seat covers. Well, that is unacceptable to have mechanics in dirty oily uniforms getting on white seats of vehicles that cost upwards of $200,000. For heavens sakes, they put plastic seat covers on my Chevy Trailblazer and my Ford Fusion when I get them serviced. They used them at Fredericksburg MB dealer in VA when I was there. When I brought that up, he once again said they weren't provided by MB. Good grief, I looked it up on Amazon and you can buy plastic seat covers for 21cents apiece. That to me is providing good customer service. Last but not least, when they were checking me out, their card reader wasn't working and the girl was very accusatory to me that I hadn't put my card in all the way. I had, and it told me not to remove my card twice then the screen went blank. I explained that to her and she didn't apologize for snapping at me and then proceeded to have a lengthy conversation with another employee instead of manually running my card. I had to remind her to run my card again. Needless to say, I won't be back. I will have my MB Sprinter serviced in Fredricksburg VA next year when I am back there and will go to SLO the time after that. The only reason they got a 2 instead of a 1 is the show room people and my vehicle is running very smoothly engine wise and alignment wise.

I had had high hopes for the service department. We were first told it would be about 2 weeks before we could set an appointment after receiving a letter from MB stating the Hermes module was available for installation in our A220. We arrive for the appointment, they keep our car 4 or 5 days, I call and they say they are waiting on the Hermes module part to arrive?! I had verified it was in stock when setting the appointment but they gave it away to someone else, I guess. So that sucked. Then, we asked them to call us when the part arrives. This has been since June 9th, a month ago and still no call. I’ve never had such poor service from a supposed “luxury” car dealer. Fail. Also, sometimes when I call, my phone just disconnects with no one answering. I give up on this place.

I purchased a Sprinter for my company In December from this dealership with pre-approved financing from the business department of my bank. I provided the approval documentation and number from my bank to both the sales person, Jerry and the finance person Heather. I was pushed to give my SS# per "company policy" and before I provided the number I asked and they confirmed that they would not be using it to push for their financing as I already have provided the approval. Well they did in fact run the the loan through their financing, using my bank, and put the loan under my personal name and not my company. This has caused multiple issues with taxes, credit and insurance. Since January when I realized the issue I have been leaving messages for the GM, Finance manager, Heather and the sales person, but have not received a call back. I did get the sales person on the phone last week and he said that he needed to talk to management and that he would return my call the following day.... Still have not received a call back. Bottom line, they want your business and have no problem charging you $5k+ "Market Adjustment Fee". They have no problem disregarding your request not to run financing through them when you have your own financing. They do howevhave a problem returning calls when they make an error

They had (fall '17) a surprising # of vans in stock. Including one 4x4 low roof. I don't think there is any dealer on the west coast that has any 4x4 high roof in stock this year. They dont last long on the lot. Good luck.
