They have showers, mail service, therapist, help-me-help-you. Which can help you get General Relief (cash aid), food stamps, and medi-cal.

Messages left no returned calls. Transferred to 7 people. Told I didn't have a case worker. When I had one 9 months before, but he quit and was not assigned another one. Place is a joke. Why is it even funded, I don't know. But they have done nothing to help me give free lunches.

I have ssi income , I need housing , assistance with first month and deposit
Oh ok and yes I'm waiting to go sign my paper work to recieve my section 8 voucher this week. .I'm pregnant and homeless . Pray 4 me 🙏,👍
No. The long Beach winter shelter that provides shelter for the homeless picks up at 14th & LB BLVD. Good luck! Stay warm!
I have a problem communicating with the public and I have no tolerance to any other person who is in my space. I applied for section 8 housing March 2015 and I don't have any idea what the problem is. I'm struggling with pain. Hernia that is ripped into my groin area . I am scared of long Beach PD officers and I don't have any family that will talk to me because I was jailed for 6yrs 80 pct 49 months in which caused me my marriage and my life to the point that I need to get a voucher to better myself in order to
Multicultural Service Center is RUDE too. They need people who have been homeless working there this way compassion can be heard, seen, and felt because the ones that work there think their better, and look and speak to the person with dislike. They themeselves can be one or two checks from homelessness.
They have a little clinic but no you have to go to the county building to apply for Medi-Cal
Yes
They have a job coordinater form Goodwill that will help you find a job
The best thing is to go to your local DPSS office and keep LB MSC out of your financial life because they will only be a hindrance there is no one there that will expedite your assistance in getting you rehoused because they have their favorites and some of the caseworkers will put you through hell unnecessarily. And if you are a veteran go directly to a veteran service organization and avoid programs like the salvation army and MHA (mental health of America at the village) unless you have a substance issue
So don't go to the long Beach go to the dpss in Santa fe
Not sure about medication...but can get you signed up for cal-med
You are better off stopping by and finding out what they can assist you with
I think so,supposed to be ending soon in February,it's called project room key, asked your caseworker.
Yes, she is.
There used to be with the crisis going on in the United States right now I'm not sure exactly what they're offering but yes they used to have services for couples
This would vary on your discharge status
Yes if you meet the qualifications and the income limits they're very helpful
I would go to the person him/her and let them know you know. If that does not work then I would go to the police and let them know.
Yes and you can also ask them to let you use there address as a mailing address.......speak to a worker there by the name of Alex....she's very friendly and can also answer any questions you might have.....
Call MSC on Monday please
Yes, if you have a case manager. Just know they're stingy with them. Tokens are a pain to get.
Yes BUT arrive early. I suggest before 9am. By 11am not many case managers hang around and they don't come everyday. They switch around/rotate case managers so don't expect the same person when you go. I know personally.
No you can not
Yes there are multiple agency's there with different programs you can't lose by checking them out
Are you doing tb test at this time? If yes, when? What time?& how much does it cost?
Not at this time. Homeless are referred to the Winter Shelter. It's closing on the 31st of this month.
You can only get one threw the mail, call the number or go to the country building on Santa Fe Ave and request one which will come in the mail
Oh yes they assist ppl with housing
NA sometimes I pass by and these ppl still want a review however The San Andreas Fault line Emergency Plan Scuba Gear Scuba 🤿 Life Jackets The Great Wall of America etc.
When I was homeless back in 2018 I would personally go to the center. Have you guys tried that. Are you guys assigned a case manager? Keep insiting don't get discourage. Also, when I was homeless me and husband were employed having a source of employment the process is faster.
There is a few programs that could help you honestly...but your best bet is to be at the multi services center every morning from 6, 630 am trill they open so your first thru the doors...and stay on them about housing you and helping..there's another program called basta inc... the are out of L.A, and if you have eviction notice or facing the loss of your housing they will intervene and do what they can to help. Keep on all case managers about hotel vouchers daily as well...they will place you in a hotel till housing is avalible..as long as you get onto a shelter list that is..and the help me help you program will help with welfare assistance etc..and will even help you do the application on the phone and you just gotta watch the mail lol hopefully this helps answer your question..
If you're able to, call them or have someone you know call them to find out that information. The folks at MSC are helpful, you just have to be patient with their timetables. You should call ahead just be sure that you're aware of their COVID procedures as well as was stated above. You can Google their number as well as call 211 to get the contact info for MSC.
