Even before this church became a Catholic Church my family would bring visitors to see the impressive and beautiful structure. Now that it is a Catholic Church we not only get to bring visitors to tour the grounds but actually attend mass as well. More recently they unveiled the statue of Đức mẹ la Vang, a sacred symbol for Vietnamese Catholic. I know many aunts and uncles have shed tears in her presence. At her feet is where my mother would kneel on days when she feels overwhelmed. While I prefer to attend smaller more intimate places of worship, I can't deny the impact this place has had on our community and family. As this is not the church I regularly attend, I can only attest to the occasional visit. It's worth checking out.

My parents purchased a niche for their burial in the future, and as they had to move out of CA to be better cared for we had to cancel those arrangements. After more than 4 months, including their sending the refund check to the wrong address, we have not had a refund. DO NOT PREPAY TO THE Diocese of Orange. They have lied to me and not followed thru or returned phone calls. They are not honorable.

Visited to attend the Michelangelo exhibit which was in one of the multipurpose buildings. The cathedral itself was closed for organ choir practice but remainder of the diocese campus was worth touring about after viewing the exhibition. A new modern cemetery and mausoleum is being built surrounded by contemporary waterfalls. Few but outstanding bronze sculptures can be seen along with delicately designed green spaces.

Haven't been here for services but I have been a part of the rebuild & it's wild to some of the things they have done.

No, the idea of Friday's to not to eat meat other than what comes from the sea. The children, sick and elderly are not expected to partake...

He’s not there anymore it’s been about two months, wondering if anyone knew what location did he go to.
They can get married if she has all her sacraments and they have the priest's permission. He will not be able to receive the host, that is, to receive communion until he receives her sacraments. Even during the ceremony she will take communion and he will only receive the Father's blessing.
"News Day" i honestly don't know. New Year's Day is not just the start of anew year, it's also a Holy Day of Obligation in the Catholic Church. These special dates, also called feast days, are a time for prayer and refraining from work. However, if the New Year falls on a Saturday or a Monday, the obligation to attend Mass is abrogated. Hope this answer helps.
Yes. Check with your local pariwh for the Mass times
