The owners were so accommodating with a last minute stay. Cabin 1 was exceptionally clean and perfect for 2 adults. The view of lake was beautiful and just a short walk from the cabin. We rented a pontoon that was very reasonable, great fishing for Sunfish and Bass. Shopping and restaurants are within a mile with more options in Pequot Lake just 5 miles away. I highly recommend staying at Fritz's resort, we will return!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The owners were very disrespectful and told us we had to leave the next morning cutting the trip short for “being too loud”. We were having casual conversations and not even being loud. Sorry for laughing and having a good time. Nobody else complained about the noise.. only her! She literally waited for us to leave our friends camper to tell us we needed to go to bed. When we were inside our camper the lady WALKED UP TO THE WINDOW invading our privacy and told us to go to bed.. unreal and disturbing! She even went to our friends camper with a flashlight shining it inside the camper and said “do we need to get the cops involved”? How unprofessional. We were also “closing the camper doors too loud”. Like what? I never thought a campground would make you be quiet by 11pm. You can’t even have a fire at night without being harassed. First time there and definitely never coming back. DO NOT COME HERE. Especially if you wanna have fun I don’t understand how people give this a 5 star review. Enjoy being harassed for being “too loud” if you come here!

The first campground I will never come back to. The campground owners are unbelievable when it comes to quiet hours. 11 o'clock hits, you NEED to be in you camper and dead silent if you're by the office. We did get a warning the first night for laughing and talking to loud at our fire right by the office. We moved the party to inside a camper the next night. After a fun night (inside a camper) we walked back to our camper and we were welcomed with a rude host telling us to leave in the morning because we were too loud walking home.... To the host, please make this a seasonal only place because you clearly have no patience for weekenders. Thanks for making our last camping trip one we won't forget for all the wrong reasons. To all future campers at Fritz resort campground if you want to have a good weekend and enjoy the beautiful nisswa area PLEASE find a different campground.
