We used Puro Clean for mold remediation in our home. Wow, these guys really know their stuff. They were efficient, clean, meticulous, and professional. They far exceeded my expectations. They were considerate about minimizing any disruption to us. As a property manager, I have hired hundreds of contractors so I believe I have a good perspective about the quality of their work. Puro Clean gets an A+. I would use them without hesitation. Try them, you will be pleased!

We had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with a water leak in our kitchen. Upon speaking with our insurance agent, Doug and his team at PuroClean were recommended. We gave Doug a call and we can't say enough good things about him and his team. Simply put, they were efficient, had great communication, and were always on time. Being new home owners, we were a bit nervous because we didn't have any idea what to expect. This is where we are most thankful for Doug and his team. Not only did they come out and use high-tech equipment to measure all the moisture levels in our walls, but they were also so kind as to document everything for us, allowing us to have solid evidence to show our insurance company. Doug also spent what we would consider to be a significant amount of time answering all of our many, many questions. He was patient, kind, and overall incredibly helpful. Again, we can't emphasize enough how thankful we are for Doug and his team. If you're dealing with the unfortunate event of a water leak, don't stress. Give Doug a call. We're very confident he will take good care of you. Thanks, Doug!

Yes. ANY moisture from any source inside of your home can cause mold. It is important to periodically check your home for leaks. If you notice moisture or water where it does not belong check it out right away.

Can I use water to put out a fire?

PuroClean Property Restoration | Aug 25, 2018
PuroClean Property Restoration | Aug 25, 2019

It depends on the specific nature of the fire. The BEST plan is to have at least 1 "ABC" fire extinguisher in your home. They are rated for ever type of fire. If you know the fire does not involve electricity or grease (in a kitchen) or another type of fuel - then water is fine. If you have any doubt about your ability to put out a fire very quickly, the best course of action is to leave the home with all of your family and to call the fire department - from OUTSIDE of the home.

What happens and what are the effects when water floods my home or business?

Water from outside the structure is contaminated and should be handled be professionals such as PuroClean Property Restoration. Even if the water was not from outside if it is there for an extended time then many materials will need to be removed because of the increased contamination from long-standing water. Drywall will soften and may fall, especially from ceilings. Carpet, pad and other floor coverings may need to be removed. Every situation is different! For the best, specific advice, please call your local PuroClean as soon as the damage is discovered.
