A family get together for a weekend of camping here is always fun. The campsite is typically left pretty clean and experiences with the camp site are great. Horse flys and mosquitoes can get bad but the wind can usually be found which keeps them at bay. The toilets are pit but they do have running water if you have a camper. I'd recommend to anyone to stay here

2020 Annual Family Camping Trip could not have been any better staying at this quiet, well maintained campground! We stayed at site 5. The lake was right there basically 100 feet from the fire ring. Drinking water available just on the other side of the tents. The bathroom just down around the corner. Easy to walk to. The dock at site 5 needs some repairs but we were able to talk with the forestry and show them what we would like to see done with the dock and they were very understanding and said they would put a call in to get it fixed. We will DEFINITELY be visiting this campground again!

Basic campground with table, fire pit, and grill rack at each site. Vaulted toilets scattered throughout the campground. We chose a site close to the lake but barely saw it. We got there around 7pm to set up camp but the bugs were so bad we just spent the whole time in the tent. My husband had cell reception most of the time and I had minimal reception, both on Boost Mobile. If you can avoid making a reservation online it will save you money to pay at the campground but it is first come first served for what’s left.

If you're looking for solitude, rent site 10. Beautiful and right on the lake. No campers in site.
