Best campground I've ever stayed at. Beautifully kept location and the park hosts take pride in every aspect of the facility! John & Debbie are absolutely wonderful and so informative about the area. It was nice to learn about some of the vegetation at the campground. This campground is lucky to have such kind people who take care of the place. We look forward to coming back.

We enjoyed spending time at this beautiful park. With easy access to the Chetco River. Nice picnic area and a moderately easy walking trail. We enjoyed walking through the Myrtle trees and a few Redwoods also. Beautiful old trees. The nature trail isn't handicap/wheelchair friendly but is fairly easy walking.

This is the nicest campground I’ve ever stayed. It’s so clean and seems like a little community. The bathrooms and showers are immaculate. Even the hand soap in the bathroom smells better than my own at home. There’s much to do at Loeb. Bird watching, a trail that takes you to a Redwood Grove, watching salamanders dive, and swimming and paddling the warm, clear waters of the Chetco, which is amazing. My only complaint is my campsite, which is on me for making a bad pick. I stayed in 33 and while it has a pretty view of the water, the path to the river is right next to it (not shown on the reservation map or I wouldn’t have picked it). So I had people talking and walking down to the river at all hours of the day and night. The bathrooms also have two really bright lights that shone right into the campsite all night and kept waking me up. This site seems best for a large group that wants to be close these things, or an RV where it doesn’t matter. It didn’t ruin my experience though. I’ll be back next summer.

Spent memorial day weekend in Brookings this year. Took the fam to Loeb Park and had a blast! We lucked out with 77 degree weather, nice wind and beautiful water. Was able to borrow a drone to try and capture pictures I can't normally get. Coming back 8n June!

Does anyone know if there is a group site or if there are sites close together? How about a covered area? Planning a family reunion. Thank you!

Loeb does not have group sites. You can reserve multiple sites close together. No covered area. Not sure when you're planning your reunion but Loeb is currently closed.

I dont know, I think a lot of camping places are found on recreation.gov and Oregon State Parks. They were planning to keep sites/people at a safe distance, I hope the sites help you with current info
