A stunning view of the Golden Gate bridge and the downtown SF skyline. The views are best on a clear day, at sunrise or sunset. Bring some outerwear because it gets pretty windy up there.

I have come here on a number of times but I’ve only gotten lucky a couple of times and actually got to see the bridge. When there isn’t any heavy fog this is the ideal spot to view the Golden Gate Bridge! We went at night and it was a bit spooky walking in the dark but as long as you have a flashlight (or a phone) it’s fine.

Super easy to walk from the outlook to the view point. A decent amount of parking in the morning when we got there. Even for an RV. Fencing with the locks had some interesting locks and ribbons. Lots of old military buildings. Public toilet.

Excellent views, easy street parking at the Vista points. Take the scenic drive, you will not be dissapointed. Beware of cyclist on good weather days. They were everywhere and "own" the road.....aka don't move.
