Did not have the heart to give any less than 5, but I should have. Been coming here for years, loved the place. Came back a few times in the last week and the baristas seemed dejected and bored. I’ve been a barista for years and I wouldn’t feel comfortable at all giving the kind of service they did. All the independent, local coffee shops I’ve worked at, the team and I would have a good time and genuinely be engaged with our guests, spreading good vibes and getting them back in spades. Greeting people all morning-afternoon and wishing everyone well. Not happening here for the most part. It was obvious I was going to be working inside and I got a to go cup too. Did not feel welcome, really awkward. I don’t know, maybe management sucks, but if I worked here, I’d be at least a little grateful and try to represent. If it’s not their fault and there’s something going on in terms of toxic work environment or terrible management, it’s not on them, but something’s gotta change. The barista with the shorter dark hair and highlights was on point though.

Cute shop. I love their display of rotating art and brightness of the upstairs of the space. It always seems to be quite chilly in there and the doors are often open when it is 40 degrees out which keeps my from coming back, though.

Hooked on Colfax, a locally owned coffee shop, has been open since 2005. It’s quirky, eclectic, and welcoming inside. I love it! And it’s not just a coffee shop, strictly speaking. In addition to coffee, they have a bakery and they serve booze. My mocha was flavorful and enjoyable, and I’m pretty picky about my mochas. Street parking is available. Complimentary wi-fi is available.

What a perfect place to have coffee and burritos in Denver. Definitely classes up dirty Colfax. I've had a lot of espresso and their grind is very good. My gf left her wallet there in the morning. 5 hours later, I called and a patron had returned it fully intact and I picked it up w no problem. Employees carried themselves well and I left the cafe energized for the day at the nearby Denver Science Museum. Highly recommend this place for coffee and green chile burrito.

Absolutely. I am on a walker and always treated respectfully
Just side streets or out front if you luck out
They have 3 frequencies of Wi-Fi, 2 entire study rooms downstairs, and 2 rooms upstairs. Literally the best cafe I've ever been.
