If it is an automotive or boat battery you can take it to AutoZone and they'll even give you a $10 gift card but as far as I know this recycling center does not accept e-waste.

Do you help with unloading or do you have bins and we unload?

They have blue trashcan size bins available but you have to do all the unloading and sorting yourself.
